Re: Neoprene booty bunching in stocking foot waders

I too had the same problem, Orvis waders had neoprene booties that would fit size 10, my feet are size 8, if that. When it became time to replace I bought Patagonia, I think they have may 3 feet size selections for each size of wader. I even got mine On Sale!

Re: Good waders for hiking? Wading pants?

Have had that problem too, size small waders have enough room for a size 10 foot. Patagonia... they fit my foot perfect.

Re: Ultralight Wader Recommendations Please

I have a pair of Patagonia wading pants that are quite small & fit great. I've never had Simms, had Orvis & the Patagonia' fit way better. Example, the Orvis had neoprene booties that would fit a size 10, I wear size 8 & my Patagonia booties fit perfectly. They come up for sale occasiona...

Re: Miss Nona

I saw a preview of Miss Nona from a facebook post. Having the story behind her brought a tear to my eye. I'm sure she'll be remembered each time you put something in that net plus plenty of pictures to share. Good job Greg, have fun with Miss Nona Curtis.

Re: What's the coldest you've fished in CA?

You may want to rethink those plans, with this "Atmospheric River" that is currently hitting the Sierra they are predicting floods & the one area that gets hit the hardest is the canyon just south of Bridgeport causing it to close. Read this; http://www.sierrawave.net/mammoth-mono-coun...

Re: Montana / Colorado boy new to Southern CA(INTRO)

The options are limited due to the extended drought we've been through. Once great waters have put through the ringer, Hot Creek & East Walker have a fraction of the fish they once held. For a newbie to the area the Owens River will be your best bet starting with the wild trout section accessed ...

Re: Just retired, time to get back to flyfishing!

Talked to my son after posting, he said it was probably closer to Main street, his is closer to Meridan. He did say that his old boss probably lived next door to you, he is one of seven kids in the family, sound familiar? I'm going up in Sept 6th, staying @ Hot Creek Ranch 7 & 8. When are you go...

Re: Just retired, time to get back to flyfishing!

Our cabin was the first A-frame in Mammoth, on Lupin St. My sons lived in an A-frame on Lupin, there are I think 4 grouped together on 2 lots, the parking area was a bit of a low spot & would hold a lot of snow melt, they called it Lake Lupin. Was it one of those? Sounds like we're on similar p...
