Re: There's a hole in our hearts....

Jim I only was able to meet you once, you talked me into going to Blu's shindig. You are a gracious gentleman and I am deeply saddened by your sudden loss. I don't know what I would do if my wife was to suddenly pass away. Lots of prayers and good wishes being sent to you from my wife and I. We are ...

Re: Agnew Meadows to Yosemite Valley Aug 2015

Thats one trip that is on my bucket list to do. So many great sights. It looks like you and your pals had a great time. Your pictures are great!!! My only complaint is that the picture resolution is a bit too small for a new backdrop on my desktop

Re: The Big FIVE-OH...

Sadly Valerie and I will not be able to attend, work is calling and I must work on Saturday, I will miss some great chili and possibly a blazing saddle moment... I will also miss out on some great fishing with everyone that is out there. Hopefully Curtis and I and anyone else that wants to go, that ...

Re: The Big FIVE-OH...

Treecatcher's brewing up a special, non IPA, brew for the weekend. Bout to get real up in here.. I was planning on brewing a maple bacon porter but it would be a green beer, so instead I have a cream ale that is fermenting now and should be great for the party. The wife and I are looking forward to...

Re: Treecatcher's Best Catch. Ever.

Valerie and I want to say thanks for all of the kind words. So far chris, there is no rain but as it turns out, I don't think we have lake rights. So we will be stopping by a certain local in the next few days. If nothing else, we will be able to go for a hike and possibly hit up the hot springs. Va...

Re: It's Rainingggggggggggg.....

finally we have some much needed rain.. Now if we could only get some snow along with the rain.... Would be really nice if we could get 3-4 storms stacked up and heading our way.
Ya mean I will get to fish the locals again :bananadance:

Re: Paso Robles flyfishing areas??

I'm guessing that Paso Robles means wine tasting? Given these tough water times, I'd focus on wine. * I almost went there for Journey who are playing the fair there~ See: http://www.journeymusic.com/pages/tour . Heck, the Fair could be fun! B If Journey would have waited a few days that would be a ...

Paso Robles flyfishing areas??

I am going on a vacation in Paso Robles in a week and I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on where to go flyfishing for trout or if the area is even legal to fish? I know about the big salty pond just to the west, but I would really like to get on some running water. With the current situation th...

Re: Is the Site Slowing Down?

For me its been the lack of water in our local mountains. Two years ago I was going just about every weekend. With the water that we have out here, I was able to hit up a different water every weekend and never fish the same water twice in a month. Now I still don't dare to try it, I keep hoping for...
