Re: Green River, here I come!

I don't go there as a destination, but somehow I end up there when the Henry's Fork flows get out of control and throw the fishing off as they did last week. So, after dealing with 1930 CFM (I'm guessing it was closer to 2300) (gauge unreliable after first release per hydrologist i met at wood road)...

Tim Zietak KT Keller Deluxe Para 15 bamboo rod

Frankly, I had been searching for a Para 15 clone for some time. Unable to afford a real Paul H. Young or an R.W. Summer's 856, I was l...

Re: How is it that new toys can make me so happy...still!

Bob, to be honest, I've had my doubts about sweetgrass all along, they seem to make way too many rods for me to believe Glenn is involved in building any of them in any way other than a name. I see used ones for sale EVERY DAY making me think way too many folks get buyers or casters remorse because ...

Re: Fishing Silk

I really didn't want to go down the silk line rabbit hole. have avoided it for decades. horror stories of maintanance. no one wants to sit out a hatch waiting for a line to dry and be re-dressed. However, thanks to you letting me try your double taper 4wt silk on my John Pickard 764 PHY perfectionis...
