Re: Pinch those barbs down cuz.......

Southern Sierra Fly Fishers had a warden as a guest speaker at last months meeting and apparently, tickets can get up to $1,200 with court fees, etc...for not having a license. Also, its illegal to have two copies of your license.

Re: Costa Corbina 580G Optics

I've had mine for about 3 years. Use them on rivers , lakes, the surf, my bike, car, all sorts of places I never intended to use them. Holding up very well and work well in the surf. I think a different color kens comes into play when deep sea fishing, not so much the shallow surf. Awesome! Do you ...

Santa Ana SF/Jenks

Does anyone know if this area is still closed because of Lake fire? Was just gonna camp overnight, but wanted to make sure if I should eve be up there.

I read somewhere that it's still close but CDFG says they stocked it 2 weeks ago and will stock it this Sunday.

Re: NorCal Fishing

Wanted to try my luck on the Trinity but I didn't realize Redding is ~6hrs from SF!

So I'll probably stick to the feather/yuba and go on a guided trip on a weekday to avoid the hordes!

Thanks for the tip!

Hey guys, Can't GTW it after all because of work  , but I will be in the SF area first week of October. Has anyone fished the Feather or Yuba? Was also thinking of going up to Redding, but I'm not sure whats exactly there. Any pointers would be great! (PM me if you'd like) Thanks, Littlefish

Re: 2wt vs 3wt: Is there a difference???

A couple of years fishing with the Finesse now is yet to make any of us regret the choice. Thanks BrownBear! Will definitely try out this one if it's available at the local flyshop! After learning rod building, I could add a completed rod to my inventory for $100-150 (or less). The events at the Lo...

2wt vs 3wt: Is there a difference???

Hey guys, Planning to get another rod. (you guys! seriously! this is an addiction!) Either a 2wt or a 3 wt. Only considering a 3wt because Redington offers a cheaper alternative. Will I really notice the difference??? My casting is still okay at best. Also medium action vs. medium-fast action vs. fa...
