Re: Top 5 destinations..........

I've got a few destinations left on my Bucket List. Before I can't, I'd love to fish 1. Montauk in the Fall for stripers and bluefish 2. West Yellowstone for rainbows, browns and cutts 3. Baja for dorado, roosterfish and skipjack 4. California Delta for stripers 5. Alaska for big rainbows and salmon

Re: Fly rod Donation for Wildfly

I'm with the good Dr. Lets go with the high-end stuff. I especially like the idea of a custom embroidered/labeled rod tube.

Re: Vibram Vs Felt

I've been using my Simms Vibram-soled boots (Rivershed non-studded) for most of this year. I love them. They do a much better job on dry rock than my older Simms felt-soled boots ever did. They seem to give me equivalent stability on wet rock. I've tried them on the Kern and some southwestern Colora...

Re: 10 foot 4wt that I will build shortly. Poll

I like the Infinity reel seat. it seems to show a bit more of the reel seat insert and that's what I want to see that in a custom build.

Re: Seasickness and small watercraft

Like 6-finger Bob, I use Bonine. I add wrist bands that have a little bead/bump in them that puts pressure on an accupunture spot on the wrist. This approach has proven successful for me when I head out into the deep on small boats (17-23ft in size) out of San Diego.

Re: Waterproof Camera

I'm happy with my Optio W60. It's my second Optio WP camera. The first one (Wpi) survived four dunkings in a river, up to arm's length deep, but didn't survive a three foot drop from the back of my truck onto the pavement down in Long Beach earlier this year. It's easy to use, takes decent pictures,...
