Re: Be careful out there guys!

Thanks for the reminder, Bill. Let's be careful out there (and even more careful on the way to there ;) )

I'm glad you survived your encounter with nature.

Re: May Fish/Pic of the month?

I didn't do much fishing in May (I'll try and remedy that in June) but May isn't over yet. So far, here's my entry for fishing picture of the month

Re: Memorial Day

Yes, indeed! Today is a day to remember and honor those who have fallen in service to our country. My thanks and prayers go out to the families who have had members pay the ultimate sacrifice. We are free because of the price that was paid.

Re: Tipping Guides

I plan on 20% as a tip. It's what I tip at restraurants and the few guides I've been with worked a lot harder for me than any waiter ever has. Re: Third Year of Drought!

Don't really like the wording of the choices. I'm with Darrin and others - fish the local creeks until water levels/temperatures get to the point that the fish will be stressed and then quit fishing them until next year.

Re: Equipment poll/Questions

The Wulff Triangular taper line has the reputation as being an awesome roll casting line. The triangular taper has a progression of thinner to thicker line along a large length. Theoretically that's the best design for roll casting - you always have heavier line lifting and pushing the lighter line ...

Re: Big Kudos To Temple Fork Outfitters

Over the past couple of years I've had to send back three different TFO rods (all due to user error) for repair. They replaced the broken tips on two of the rods with a new section and send me a brand new rod on the other. Great service with the rods back in my hand very quickly (less than a week ro...
