That addiction will likely never go away, it may get worse and even take you to places you never thought you'd ever visit... Welcome

Re: Catarafts

If you like doing all the research, and putting things together yourself.....and troubleshooting when things don't go as planned, I say go for it. It might be less expensive than a turn key deal, but don't expect to save a lot of money. Those little details can add up quickly. I would also be very ...

Re: Catarafts

Just pulled the trigger on the PAC 1200 tubes/bladders, it was just to good to pass up. So the build begins... :bananadance:

What do you guys think? Yea or nay? I vote yea, make two of them, and take me with you! Do a little quail hunting while we're out there. What body of waters are you looking to break it in on? Thanks, Tim:)/'~~--<*}))>< Haha... I wish I could build a few of them Tim. The first real float will be on ...

Re: Catarafts

This is another option I have been looking into as well. Building the cataraft frame to my own specs via rowframe . Row frame was mentioned on several whitewater rafting forums. Built the same as nrs frames but at a fraction of the cost. For the bladders or pontoons, I have found out that I could pu...

Re: Catarafts

I'm still looking and researching... That said does anyone know what the difference is between these two pontoons? Skykomish Sunrise ST $999.99 I know it has a standing platform and a lean bar with a wider frame at 58". Why are is there a 15 year warranty on these? Skykomish Sunrise ST Element ...

Re: Good Soaking so far!

The ocean has plenty of hard pulling species that one can target until conditions in the locals streams return to normal, if they ever do... The lakes offer an alternative as well, a floattube would help with covering more water. No one should be targeting any of the local streams anyways. The fish ...

Re: Optics, Sun glasses, Shades...

Stopped in at BMFS to try on sunglasses, unfortunately they only carry Smith and off the rack stuff. I endend up buying tying materials for some clousers. I need to find a store that carries Costa sunglasses.

Optics, Sun glasses, Shades...

Which ones are you wearing and why? What are the pros and cons of buying expensive vs cheap? I have never owned an expensive pair of polarized sun glasses. I always buy a cheap pair and I always scratch the heck out of them. Surprisingly I have only lost one pair of glasses while surf fishing. I am ...

Re: Can you believe it?

Light rain started here in East Los Angeles about 45 minutes ago. Looks like the good soaking saturating kind.
Hopefully it will keep coming.
