Re: Fueled Leaders

Good endeavor but they last so long it's worth it to buy them from an expert maker.
I started using them on the crystal clear Quilcene river with 16 foot leaders and now for big bugs on the bass rod.

SSFFC Kids Academy VI Pics.

The students and club members raised the bar! The improved programs and new bug collecting station were a hit. Thank you SSFFC members for making KA possible. It's your "all in" mentality that makes this event work for the kids! Next year, the same location but change to April to avoid run...

Re: Opinion: Waders

I bought a pair of Frogg Toggs for like $89 at Sports Authority in the Summer of 2009. They've been great, and I'm tough on them and don't really clean them or do anything special after I wear them. Basically, I let them dry in the backyard, and then toss them on top of my float tube until next tim...

Re: Eagerly Awaited 5 Weight Shootut

I just wonder who buys these very expensive rods, 90% of the people I see on the water can’t form a decent loop no matter what rod they have in their hand! That's why they cover their bases and rave about a bottom of the line Imperial Series rod from St Croix. Why else inlude a rod in the $200 pric...

Re: Eagerly Awaited 5 Weight Shootut

For years they just cut and pasted past verbiage for St Croix rods. Every year a lower end ST Croix, cheapest rod in the test, is an amazing surprise in how well it casts and the reviewers can't believe.

Bet the sell the heck out of entry level St Croix rods to newbies.

Re: Seasons on the fly

I think I am alone in the world, but Seasons (all though I do watch it) kinda drives me nuts... I guess Greg gets a bit 'too poetic' for my tastes ;) Its one of those shows that usually takes me about 2 days to finish. Maybe because in my fast paced life, with 2 babies, slow TV shows don't get prio...
