Re: Car Camping: Shower, Wash, Rinse, etc.

That's pretty sweet Bob. What pressurizes it? If I had to guess, you mentioned a bladder, so it's probably like filling up a water balloon. Greg, that is pretty much it, but it is a very small and thick bladder so it produces a lot of pressure. They say fill it for 20 seconds, I let mine go a littl...

Re: Car Camping: Shower, Wash, Rinse, etc.

So, apparently my son used me as a guinea pig, LOL! He desperately wanted to know how well it worked, because HE was considering one for his surfing and snowboarding excursions, he was just not ready to commit. I think he already bought his. Thanks for the heads up Bob. I like it. I now use a Sun Sh...

Car Camping: Shower, Wash, Rinse, etc.

My son bought me one of these for Christmas, I took it up to the LO for Curtis's Party. I just have to say, this thing is amazing, I filled it up at home, and when I cam back after 4 days, it still had about a half gallon left in it. Kept my boots and waders clean, made washing the Chili Pot a breez...

Re: Best dozen. Addicts best four.

Tough question, but a fun one! First off, I have had the opportunity to actually cast this rod on the water while having an epic day trout fishing with Luc: and my all time favorite which is reserved only for dinky trout in dinky water, Winston IM6 7'-2. I feel different when I'm using this little g...

Re: All Points Bulletin

Well, at least you let him know that you knew what he was doing, and had the patience to stand your ground, as well as to slowly creep up on him...LOL! and he finally got the hint! Had that happen to me the first time I went to the East Walker, I was moving up on a nice long deep hole, just caught a...

Re: The Big FIVE-OH...

I changed my potluck contribution to include some chili. It seemed to do a good job of clearing my sinuses. If 1mocast needs some for medicinal purposes, the chili can be warmed up early. Ants AHH! I am making chili too! Oh well, guess we can have some on Friday night as well..... :bananadance:

Re: Snow in the locals

Very nice pictures Mike, thanks for sharing them.

You really think the conditions will be good?
Last time I was up, ALL the pools were silted up!
I think our locals still need a GOOD flushing!

Re: Airstream Chronicles Pt. V

Curtis, great trip! The photos were excellent, and all the cuisine...off the charts! Many congrats to you and the Missus for everything you have both worked for....you deserve every bit of it! As for you darkened homecoming, I watched most of it unfold, and from the beginning, I just kept thinking, ...

Re: The Big FIVE-OH...

"Well, alright, just take it easy," he said, giving me the green light. :bananadance: So, barring some other issue that may arise, I should be there. The beer will be safe in camp (at least from me, but I don't know about that Bob guy  ) How many bottles of that wine do you have, Cu...
