Re: Drone Risers

The pressure that your locals get is tremendous. I so love to see the evidence that in spite of all that's been done, there is still wild things that walk and fly and swim in our national forests so close to millions. Thanks for sharing

Re: Chuck Yeager RIP

He was an amazing aviator who got to fly well into his nineties. I remember him being on that fly fishing around the world once. RIP General Yeager.

Good Book Read

I haven't had any time to even consider wetting a line trying to get my Idahome in shape. Living out of boxes is my motivation to get things squared away quickly. This book looked like a good read. Check out the review. https://www.hatchmag.com/articles/book-review-casting-forward-steve-ramirez/7715...

Re: See You On The Other Side.....

Thank you all for the kind comments. Got back from another three day 1500 mile round trip load of most of household goods and my 1997 Forerunner who is in a garage for the first time since I've owned it. Waiting on water system and electricity out to where the horse corrals are and then will make wh...

Re: See You On The Other Side.....

Jim, I sure hope you’ve got some thick horse blankets for your ponies. It’ll probably take a week or two for them to acclimate. Safe travels, Jeff Jeff...they have already grown substantial coats as days grow shorter and will add to them, I am sure, when they get out there. I have blankets for all ...

Re: See You On The Other Side.....

Thank you all for the kind comments. Saturday, will make a second trip to Idaho to take the rest of the furniture and stuff along with the wagons, harrows, manure spreader and horse stuff. Once the fencing is installed, I will be heading out for one final time with the seven horses. Temperature when...

Re: See You On The Other Side.....

Out of curiosity, how does someone go about finding such lovely property? Traditional zillow/redfin/local realtor? I've looked on https://hallhall.com for fun, seems a bit steep :) i didn't pay asking as I had seen the property the year before and made an offer she accepted that was more in line wi...

Re: See You On The Other Side.....

Here's wishing the best with all the changes. Changes are exciting, but sometimes just plain work. Comparing your new place to Papasequoia's place, both places look like they could host a volcano party under the proper circumstances. Just wondering, how much work is it to transport the livestock? E...

See You On The Other Side.....

I've been busy this past year for many reasons and haven't fished much. I've lived through your posts and adventures. The few times I did get out were special. I've sold our first cabin in Wrightwood to a wonderful family that bought it the first 15 minutes it was on MLS. Quail Ridge is still on the...

Re: Simms Wader Support - spoiler - it was good

They did the same for me after I had used the waders for five years. I will be replacing those soon with another set of Simms. Also use Simms boots. Great customer service.

Re: My first time playing with a critter cam

I've used the trail cams for human predators at times here in our valley but thankfully only caught wild and domestic visitors. I had a mixed bag of success with in focus captures but was always amazed at how many wild things visit our little place year round. Funniest was two Coyote drinking at our...

Re: Lockdown Posts
