What a Wednesday!

Postby Josh lopez 82 » May 24th, 2013, 7:23 am

Went to work as I normally do. 6 hrs into my shift and received a emergency phone call from my other half.
They broke into our stator age facility at public storage and stold everything but mi extra clothes and fridge.
What hurt me the most was they stold all our fishing and camping gear.
I'm sure you all know the amount of money I would have had there with waiters, boots, rods, reels, packs etc.
storage insurance is giving me the run around like I expected. They want receipts and serial numbers to replace what I had.
I haven't been able to get out this year and was planning on it this weekend. Not gonna happen now.
If any one has anything for sale I'm interested in the next two weeks.
Thanks guys for listening

Sorry to hear this Josh...that's pretty much horrible. I am so tired of the idiots that have been released early and are prowling our streets now....competing for who can get to the pawnable or scrap that they can turn in at the recycle places. Your story is not a new one and we are seeing their range expand even into our little valley that used to be so secure.

I'm sure that folks here have some extra gear they've accumulated over the years. What weight rods do you normally use and what species do you normally target?

I've got a 2 piece 9' 4 wt Reddington RS2 if you're interested. Thieves suck, cutting off their hands is about the only thing I like about Sharia.
