I saw several disappointments in the video. No sense in voicing them here because I'm sure everyone else will see them, too.

Aussie TV show evolves into a fly vs lure.

Fly guy goes first through a run, followed by lure guy in same run. Lure guy kicks fly guy's butt.

Fly guy sucks. Lure guy looks like he knows what he's doing.

Youtube comments reflect the above opinion, and the tv show responds in kind.

The comments and responses are more entertaining than the video show.

Sweet, thanks man I will have to check the comments. What is funny is I catch way more fish on a fly rod then I ever did when I threw gear. I dunno, maybe it is just because I learned how to fish...

Oh well, that fly fisher had a lot of opinions and very little game. Good thing I just don't care.

Same here for me, for trout anyway. When I fished for trout with bait you were limited by your limit and even with a lure with those three hooks you messed up so many trout that we ended up keeping because they wouldn't survive. That was also the mentality of the day. With flyfishing and barbless hooks we could release our fish in good consience and continue to fish so 10,20,30 and more fish days would happen. So now we become better fisherman just by fishing more because we don't have the "limit" constraints. C&R has made us all better trout fisherman. BTW I would have to concur the fly guy there wasn't the best, just liked to talk and the spinning guy seemed to know what he was doing.
