Okay, give us the full version and let us know what happened. You have heard that the two happiest times of a boater's life is when they buy the boat and again when they sell the boat, haven't you?

There's a little more info downstairs, in my TR. As for the saying, yes. Having grown up with boats in the family, and owning my own at a relatively young age, I have experienced that. I spent the better part of my adult life free of boats, but now those chains have found me again. I know what to do. Buy a new boat and my troubles will be over........right, Bob?

Now what did Jon do with that heavy groan emoticon? :comfort:
I've already put one grand into repairs for my boat this year and striper season is just starting! And last time out, my two year old trolling motor wouldn't work. I hopefully fixed it this time without spending any more money (yeah right)! :booty:

BOAT= Bring On Another Thousand I'm sure the boats won't cost anymore after these repairs ;) .

Having owned skiboats, fishing boats, houseboats, waverunners, drift boats, rafts...........they're all money pits, but some are deeper pits than others. The only thing I have left is a raft outfitted for drift flyfishing. Not many moving parts to it except for the rowing mechanism (me), and it's been moving slower lately so maybe it needs repaired. .
