Headlight upgrade on my truck?

Has anyone tried these Silverstar bulbs? Since I do some dirt road driving either before light or after dark, do they help out with that application? Or just on the highway?

Hopefully one of you truck guys has tried them. Not looking for HID or anything blinding, just a useful upgrade.

we had them for a while in the honda. was a lot brighter than the normal bulbs. We managed to find them on sale somewhere - I don't recall where. that was the only reason we tried them out. I've been considering getting some for the jeep, but still contemplating other options.

I have them on my Jeep. They are an upgrade from stock but not in any earth-shattering way.

I’m with fivefish on these lights, better than stock, but not much in the wow factor. Up-grade your bulbs if they are burnt out, but I would not replace them otherwise. If you want more light for offroad you need more wattage, throw a light bar on your truck and gets some real lights.
