SF 11-year-old makes fly-casting history

Postby fly addict » August 10th, 2015, 2:04 pm

I have watched Chris Korich coach Maxine for the last two years. She is an incredible caster and will only get better with time. She also understands the casting fundamentals and can quickly analyze others casting problems and can come up with a solution to help them improve. She is also a great fly fisherman. Remember her name, she is going to be a star in our sport!

Too cool! Good for her! :D
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Max has been cleaning up on the NorCal competitive casting circuit for a couple of years. She's a true child prodigy and will be even more scary good when she grows up!

She kinda reminds me of the Revel boys(not boys anymore), but she might have more natural ability!

It's cool to know there are youngins' involved in this stuff.
