The 2nd wave of hail blew through here, and taking inspiration from the honorable flybob, I grabbed my micrometer and went outside. Just over 35 thousandths of an inch for a freshly fallen dollop.
Oh, and I managed to lock myself out of the office in the process.

Pretty large hail for down the hill. I've never used my micrometer for hail, but hey, at least you know the size EXACTLY.

That must have been a funny sight to see; someone standing outside in a hailstorm with a micrometer in their hand pounding on the door to be let back in
