You must have gotten to the Three Dollar Bridge on the same day I went pheasant hunting last week! The weather changes fast in this part of the country!

Looking forward to you filling in the blanks.

Jeff

Nope..NOT Photoshoped...the idea, when one is on a serious fly fishing trip, is to make proper use of one's time. That means being the first, as well as the last, on the water...

I Just completed my first BLOG post on the trip and used 56 photos. Unh... there is no way I am going to put them into a host like Imgur and repost them. If ya' want to follow along, go to my BLOG...this is the first post in a loooooooonnnnnngggggg series of posts:

I'll be all around the 3 dollar area in three weeks for 10 days. But my goal is not "catch & release" It's tough to safely release an Elk. BobK

I want to see the next installment. I have fished the Madison so many times this post is almost like a flashback.
By the way my favorite setup is to fish a #8 Jimmy legs and #20 flashback black caddis or 2 Bit Hooker for nymphing. They seem to catch fish all the time. I also suggest trying the Madison above Hebgen Lake or Bear Trap this time of year.
Good Luck !
