Just got a email flyer on the new Sage TCX. The ad says it replaces the old XP rod, but I heard it was replacing the TCR model. Who picks the colors at Sage!! Good to see they kept the prices down.

Out of curiosity, i'll probably cast one at one of the shows this winter. At that price point, I seriously doubt I couldn't live without one.....unlike a Winston BXII 3wt.

That price ($780) for a super fast action rod...No Thanks.. I will stick to a rod that costs hundreds less and actually loads at short distances.. If If I personally had to use it I would overweight it with a line 1-2 line weights heavier than the rod..IMHO...
