For You Gear Addicts

Postby briansII » September 10th, 2008, 2:23 pm

Just got a email flyer on the new Sage TCX. The ad says it replaces the old XP rod, but I heard it was replacing the TCR model. Who picks the colors at Sage!! :? Good to see they kept the prices down. :o :o

Also get a glimpse of the new line of Sage reels, in the ad pic.

Out of curiosity, i'll probably cast one at one of the shows this winter. At that price point, I seriously doubt I couldn't live without one.....unlike a Winston BXII 3wt.

That price ($780) for a super fast action rod...No Thanks.. I will stick to a rod that costs hundreds less and actually loads at short distances.. If If I personally had to use it I would overweight it with a line 1-2 line weights heavier than the rod..IMHO...
