Just got back a 6-night backpacking trip with my GF (Renee) and 1-year Weimaraner (Miles) to the WRR, Wyoming. The trip was originally scheduled for 8 nights, but the the two of us grew tired of the rain/sleet/snow/cold temps and left early for the warmth of a Jackson Hole hotel room. It was a great trip, despite the miserable weather. We were well prepared, and had all the right gear, yet both had hoped for lazy days and layover lakes...but instead had snowdays stuck in a tent. Here are some pictures of the trip, sorry in advance for all the pictures of the dog....she seems to find her way into most scenic pictures as this was her first "official" backpacking trip. Fishing was good, not excellent as in previous trips. Nights got down to the lows 20's, days high 50's and nering 60's at the end of the trip.

I love this meadow stream.....about 20 miles from trailhead here. Tons of of fun cutts, occasional golden-hybrids. A light rod dream!
