G Loomis 6wt. Rod

I am looking at a G Loomis 6wt 3pc. 9' rod , their Cross Current model. Bass and light surf is what it will see duty as ; any thoughts ?

I think you'd like that model, that's the same model as my 8wt and it's served me just fine. Hang that Penn on it and you'd be set. Gonna take out the kayak next week over in LB, and I'll let you know whats going on if my weekly plans with the outlaws coming down goes as planned :bananadance:

It looks like it will fit the bill. It is the only 6Wt. rod with a fighting butt extention that I have seen. At any rate , I sent for it this morning ; $150 in mint condition , slip cover and G Loomis case included. Yes , that Penn 1.5 will be a good combo.
