My article on Dave's shop published online

Postby Papasequoia » April 26th, 2010, 9:22 am

I wrote an article on Dave's shop (Sierra Trout Magnet) months ago for the Drake Magazine's online homepage section (not the forum) and it looks like it finally made it to the top of their queue for the "Flyshop Friday" segment. Here is the link, make sure to click on the "read more" part! (Note that while the forum for the magazine does not have the best reputation in some quarters, the magazine itself is a pretty darn good fishing publication).

Gald to see him getting some national recognition...

It seems a natural progression for someone with David's background... building a "following" while working for established shops and guide services....and eventually going on his own.

With his background (lifetime devoted to the fly), he has got to be one of the finest guides in California...

Jon, Really nice article. You gave a really good feel of what David's shop is all about. The 'feel' is the best part of going to David' shop. It just feels good to be there. Thanks for writing it. Later, Raider

Nice article and I'm sure it will help David's shop. Any free advertising is good advertising.
