Man, I need to find some better local ponds than Fairmount park (its pretty nasty there)

That kind of fishing is really a lot of fun.
Fishing is the most wonderful thing I do in my life, barring some equally delightful unmentionables.

Rayfound, there's plenty of better water to fish in the 951 other than Fairmont! Ranch Jurupa is a good little bass/ bluegill spot ($$$), S.A. River is one of my fav's. I have a couple "not so legal" spots as well if you want them ;) Only been busted once.

Nice Brian. Look's like a great place to me. Would love to hit that pond sometime. :D
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Darrin,

It's above Auberry, a short hike from my inlaw's place. 4 ponds, and lots of blugill. Water levels are way down this year, but i'm sure the fishing is still very good.

My little one nabbed this out of the pond closest to their home.....yes that's a wooly bugger....that dad adorned with a piece of string cheese. :D

Lots of these

Hopefully we'll have a chance to get up there before it gets too cold.

That would be cool. Out of town this weekend, but will be around most weekends going forward. Let's do that. Looks like fun. :D
