Casting Clinic,

Postby fly addict » June 28th, 2010, 8:15 am

I got to spend the weekend getting a lot of casting instruction from Chris Korich and Matt Rickerd. These two guys are some of the most experienced casters and instructors in the world. I could have gone fishing up to the EW this weekend, but this was way better. I can always go fishing. If you ever get a chance to cast and learn with Chris or Matt, you should do it.

Sounds good! Now you can use what you learned, and go fish!

So Mark....when are you going to host a casting clinic? :)

Jim,
I might be able to teach you how to catch more fish. But I think I would be way over my head trying to teach you how to improve your casting skills. Chris said it took him 10,000 hours to hone his casting skills. :o I don't know if you or I have that much time to work on it. ;)

Mark, from what I can tell you don't need any help with your casting skills. Tom.

Yeah....I guess I am a little rough around the edges. I'll take the catching fish any day!

That's pretty cool. I didn't know who these two gentlemen were so I did a search. Wow. Sounds like a very fun, and valuable day.
