Drowning doesn't look like drowning

Postby darrin terry » August 9th, 2010, 10:56 am

I was on the Fiberglass Flyrodders board this morning and someone had posted this link…

I thought it a good idea to post it here. We all spend a lot of our free time on the water - often with our kids and friends. I think many people will surprised at what they read in the article.
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

What I got out of the article is that parents should pay very close attention to their kids when they are in the water!!! Good post, Darrin.
Set the hook!

I remember your post Sasha. Great post Darrin. Something to remember and keep in mind when we're on the water.

Yup, that was the scariest * I have ever gone through. Performing CPR on my 20 month old son for around 4 minutes or so is not an experience I care to ever try again. Bottom line..... Never leave your kids around water.... Even when you are "right there".

I will never forget your story Sasha. Good article, it's definitely something good to know.
