Surprised

Postby briansII » May 20th, 2011, 12:15 pm

Must say, I am happily surprised with the latest, local fly fishing mag. Not so much with the content(there are some good articles), but with all the advertisers. This leads me to think, we _may_ have seen the worst, and things are on the upswing.....maybe? :? The only other magazine I get is thinner than before. A couple I quite subscribing to were mere shadows of what they once were.

The content was ok. I didn't read any articles all the way through, but I plan to read at least one or two(interview and Delta article). I see the SoCal contingent has a article to inform them about all the trout creeks, and the conditions. :? The gear section talks about cork? I wasn't going to renew my subscription, but I am tempted now.

Did I forget to say what magazine?

I'm glad the advertisers are back. I'm letting my subscription lapse. Getting tired of one writer giving everything but GPS coordinates for the locals in SoCal.

I hear that W-man. I noticed the same thing. Really like the article on Soft hackle flies by Ralph and Lisa and a lot on flies. Nice issue.
