I used to live there but unfortunately I did not fish then. There are a few reservoirs and I believe most if not all the moving water is salt (you redefine your notion of a river when you cross the 5 mile wide James River). Of course there is also the Chesapeake Bay. A side trip to Northern or Southwestern Va would get you into some trout streams.
