You simply knock me out. this forum is full of talent. I know these will bring our Southern California chapter of c4r a nice price. You all are really coming through. I've now got the rods from Stanbery and crew, lanyards, reels, all sorts of pretties! Thank you all!

Holy Cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those are nice. I would probably fill one with presentation grade flies and just show it off ;) . True functional art at its finest.

I always admire and envy the skills of those who join us here. What an incredible group of fly boxes! Where do you buy the ridged foam? I have looked all over for it.

Thanks for the kind words...Jim- you can get the foam at Bob Marriots... http://www.bobmarriottsflyfishingstore.com/fly-boxes-stretchers/foam-boxes/mill-stream/mill-stream-replacement-foam-pads...I use the size RRM (they about 3 1/2 x 5 1/2)

Dave,
Those boxes are just too beautiful...I can see them as Display cases for flies.

Those boxes look so good, I don't know if I would be brave enough to actually take one out on the water. I'd be heart-broken if I lost it or damaged it. Awesome work!

This is one I made for myself, out of Lacewwood. They are really durable,I dropped it in a local stream once and it floated down about 10 yards befofe I got it....It actually floats great! But they are only wood,if I damage it I can just make another :)

Good looking boxes! The best thing (besides how cool they look) is that they float.
