Lake Don Pedro Hot now for Flyfishing

Postby Phil Hill » November 19th, 2011, 8:14 am

Now is the time if you are a flyfisherman like me on Lake Don Pedro. Any shad looking fly on a shooting head seems to work well, also a black ant type fly on the surface is working well all over the lake. Just look for the Trout nipping the surface ! They are running 2 to 4 lbs. and fight like steelhead !!

Welcome Phil. Thanks for the heads up. I heard about the hot bite a while back. I have a buddy there today....not chasing trout though. He's USING trout swimbaits. :D
