Old news for many of us I think (see: http://www.flyfishingaddicts.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2885& ). I find it super fascinating and also sad too. There's a solid entry in the latest Outdoor California about the Russian River which made me think of this movie.

I bought the movie and have watched it a handful of times. Highly recommended! Bittersweet documentary of early, Ca. fly fishing for salmon, and steelhead. Great hearing firsthand stories of the fishery, and the characters involved. Bitter pill to swallow, of what the fishery has become.
