I know about the central valley employment situation. You've actually made a good move (work wise only). I was only kidding with that. There are some really quality waters down here for sure, and with a bit of homework you'll find some honey holes. Don't overlook the warm water species....
There is a wealth of information here with a bunch of nutty guys like myself who eat breath sleep fly fishing. Sit down kick off your shoes.
