OK, I draw the line at wet wading Pyramid on a ladder, in the snow. Fly fishing gear has improved so much since I started. The breathable and fleece additions to cold weather gear changed everything. We can fish winter weather in comfort. It's the ladder that makes me nervous...

I know if I want to catch big fish it won't be standing on a ladder in the middle of a lake in the middle of nowhere during a snow storm. Long-range trips out of San Diego in the summer would be my first choice.
