As a machinist by trade, this is impressive to say the least. Most will look at it and just say aww that's easy.. Well you try to get the spacing on the hinge just right. To where there is no gap while just using a * and a nut to ensure that your spacing between the two hinges is correct .One miscount of turning the * and I can guarantee that there would have been a lot of profanity. And how do you remove all of the material not just from where the flange is but where the pocket for the flies is without having an oopss. Ohh don't forget this was probably done in a home garage with the neighbors complaing as sweat is pouring off his head while trying to keep the same sweat from ruining the finish on the fly boxes.
