JMHO, I think the Shadow casting video is a parody. Clearly, both guys know how to cast well, but when doing the shadow cast, their technique goes straight into the toilet. I think they are 1/2 parodying "the movie", and 1/2 making fun of trick casts that may not work well in fishing situations.
If you have doubts, this is from the same folks...............

Before anyone tries the "Shadow Cast" they should make sure that they've got a helmet and ski goggles on. These guys are making a yoke Oli (bad Norwegian).

First vid: I think they found the marijuana fields in the Sierras and did a little sampling.........all the fish are off to the side going what a wasted hatch!!!
