Morning on the surf

Postby fflutterffly » February 18th, 2014, 1:33 pm

Lee B. and I went out on the beach this morning to throw flies at fish in the big blue. It was a very successful morning of learning a lot, taking in the view and perch on the line. If you haven't tried the surf yet you should give Lee B. a call and arrange a very reasonable day of fishing and learning. You can find him at flyfishthesurf.com worth every moment of my time. No photo's cuz I forgot the camera.

I was just looking at my surf flyrod yesterday and thinking "it's been a while since I've been on the sand." I heard the perch bite is on right now.

I've been meaning to get to the coast because the steelheading isn't so good out here.

"By taking him fishing."
