I did hook a few good 23-25 inchers below the dinks but big mama DD was no where to be found...I agree about the big lunkers just cruising below all the commotion and picking up the stressed baitfish to eat......The stripers are getting the best of the baitfish and fattening up for the cold months.. ;)
