hard! The mountain streams will certainly benefit from this storm. Of course, next we'll hear folks complaining about the mudslides all over SoCal. Ya gotta take the bad with the good.

We received about 1/3 inch on Sunday, but this storm could drop 2-3 inches of rain here in the SB Mountains. :bananadance:

That makes the Upper look like it's a pretty cold bet, but still, I hope it keeps coming down..
Clee,
You're right about it getting the ducks to moving and keeping them within range as they fly. We used to love the rainy days.

I keep trying to visualize in my head a stagnant pool in a stretch of stream where there once were many pools and flowing water. In that pool are a few trout hiding under a rock or something. They have held on tightly for ages then suddenly a storm hits like gangbusters and the fish are struggling in the silty murk for many hours or a few days; dodging debris, heavy currents and trying to find shelter ... Then you think that they have done this for thousands of years and survived. Blows my mind.

Images of Forest Falls shows Mill Creek coming down pretty good. Yucaipa Ridge got almost 5". Will definitely scour out some sand.

The Mojave River is actually flowing through Hesperia this morning. That hasn’t happened in a while.

finally we have some much needed rain.. Now if we could only get some snow along with the rain.... Would be really nice if we could get 3-4 storms stacked up and heading our way.
Ya mean I will get to fish the locals again :bananadance:
