Can you believe it?

It's actually rain/snowing here in Running Springs now! Hope we get at least a 1/2 inch of the wet stuff as it is dryyyyyyyyy as all get out in the locals and the streams need every bit they can get. We've received about a 1/4" of snrain (snow.rain mix). Hope it's raining down the hill on all you flatlanders as well.

Not much here, but I think it's supposed to rain more tonight.

Light rain started here in East Los Angeles about 45 minutes ago. Looks like the good soaking saturating kind.
Hopefully it will keep coming.

We're down in the very low 40's and it's still dropping with lots of showers moving through.

Lot of rain on my side. Since about 1pm, it's been steady.

sigh so much for hoping for snow... At least we are getting some sort of precipitation. The fish can really use it

It's been raining in the desert since 4:00. :bananadance: The wild flowers will be out in force this year. The eastern sierras should be getting their share.

Everything in sight is white but will be gone as soon as sun comes out with the ground temps so warm. I'll take what we can get.

This morning in the Central Ca., we are going from light sprinkles to heavy downpours. Driving south from Sacramento yesterday, it was sunny and warm until I hit Atwater/Merced. Rained the whole way home. :bananadance:

We ended up with about 2 1/2 inches of snow and nearly 1/2" of rain before the snow. Should help slightly but we need about 10-20 times that amount to make any dent at all.

That's too bad there wasn't more snow... I just got off the phone with my dad and he said they didn't get much snow. They live right near the Arrowhead village. But rain is good; hopefully the trout in the creeks nearby enjoy it. It rained decently here in Bakersfield, and I love it when the storm clears here because what normally is brown and dusty is temporarily green and washed clean (including the air). Right now the Kern river canyon between Bakersfield and Isabella is a beautiful drive, even if the fishing in the river is pretty much non-existent.
