Cleaning Floatant Stains

Anyone have success removing floatant stains from clothing? What did you use? How did you clean it?

You need an oil emulsifier like Dawn dishwashing soap....

Also, try some 91% rubbing alcohol. It worked great on some pine sap that I got on my bivy sack at CWL.

That said, floatant stains are a drag. I surrendered myself to just leaving them as signs-of-wear .... you know, like scratches on a guitar ...Worse, for me, are sticky deposits of sap that happen when sitting on a log streamside ...

Rubbing alcohol will take off the sap for sure.
