Thirty plus years as a lifeguarding and I still haven't made a triple rescue without getting wet! Not knowing who you saved or who saved you is normal but believe it or not the, "thank you, thank you, thank you!" is rare. Most of these people are so happy to be alive they rarely remember to thank anyone. The old "Reach, Throw, Row, then go" with a good spey cast for the throw saved three lives this day.
