Wildfly's Sock

Postby flybob » October 24th, 2009, 4:06 pm

As Stanbery has stated in his post regarding the rod for Craig, I have offered up one of Mrs. flybob's rod socks.

Jon always gives us the option of choosing the colors for his socks, and has done the same for Craig's rod.

So, this time around, since so many have been involved, I am throwing this one to the board!

So, I have narrowed it down to these colors:

Image

From top to bottom:
1. Maroon
2. Standard Forest Green
3. Olive Drab
4. Sage
and for you hunters out there:
5. Real Tree
6. Digital Camo
7. Mossy Oak

Now, for the record, if Craig chimes in and picks a color/scheme, he trumps the boards choice!

Have at it guys, we will give it about a week before we start on the sock.

Thanks for your input, and a special thanks to Jon for setting this up,
Bob

I've got to get my eyes checked. I first read the title of this thread as Wildfly's Sack so I was a bit reluctant to open the thread up. To my relief, we are talking about rod socks here, so make it traditional forest green.

The CAMO ones remind me of jungle nights spent far away. I really like the Forest Green.

Craig's not a hunter, so I would say no camo. I would vote for forest green!

Well, looks like Forest Green it is!

Should match up nicely with the blank and the wraps.

Thanks all,
Bob
