I got a chance to play with the new toy

Well I got a chance to play with my new (well new to me) toy for a little bit out on the lawn today. All I have to say is I can’t wait to fish this thing. It is quite a bit different than my TXL; actually it feels closer to my Superfine 1wt. Well as soon as I go fish it you can rest assured I will post a repot!

The SPLs are great rods. I'd like to fish it on a few of my favorite little creeks, although I've never fished a rod that light. I love that color. Have fun.

Sasha.... Very nice!!!! I have been looking at a light wt rod. All the local waters here close to me in South OC are over grown and hold smaller bows. I will have to check this rod out. Thanks Chris

Sasha, nice rod. A fish is going to feel great on the end of that. I didn't know you could get a 0wt in 8' lenth, thought 7' was it.

I wish...... It is too cold plus they said it might snow in the morning so no lawn mowing for me

I just got back from a trip (post to come soon)
Where I tried to get a 20"+ on the 00wt, didn't quite get it but, got some real nice ones!!
