That whole mag is pure, unadulterated, fish *. Just incredible images. Thanks for the heads up and it's now on my 'favorites' list.

Agreed!

Some of the other dorado footage I have seen is from smoother water. This footage is so cool because it is in very trout-like water. I have always found the Characin family curious because like trout, they have that little-old adipose fin. They also have reasonably similar shapes (save for stuff like Pirhanas and Pacus). The Dorado, given its migratory tendency and overall appearance really strikes me as nothing other than a trout on steroids. Some fun info here: http://www.acuteangling.com/Reference/SAz-dorado.html.

Great stuff.

No doubt! Fantastic issue ... Both of the Dorado films were awesome! Would love to do that some day!

I just read an article on Golden Dorado in I _think_, American Angler magazine. It covers the same fishery(and has the same title, Devil's Gold) this video shows. I wonder if Catch Magazine is affiliated with the other publication.

It looks like an incredible place! As Bernard said, this fishery looks remarkably like trout water. Everything about it sound like a trip of a lifetime.....well, except for the extreme heat and bugs.
