First Grandchild

Not a fly fishing topic, but the reason I left the Kern and relocated to central Florida. My youngest son and his wife presented us with a beautiful healthy baby girl last night(7:14 PM EST). Both Mother and baby are doing fine and the first time grandparents (on both sides) are just estatic. I can't wait to put a fly rod in my granddaughters hand and teach her how to fish. :bananadance: :bananadance: :bananadance: :bananadance: :bananadance:

How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.
