Fished a eastern sierra creek in the snow this after noon then on to the Lower O. Met two guys who told me they had just run into a rattler. Walk carefully. The snakes are already out.

I didn't see any up there last weekend. But I was in the water most of the time. I'll keep my eyes open this weekend. Thanks for the heads up.

Fishing was fine! we got 7" of snow in Bridgeport last night. Fished a part of ----- today and did well using a tiger midge with flashabou tail. Still lots of people on that water.

Hopfully at least a little bit of that snow will stick around for hiking this weekend. I like the scenery it adds.
