Life is a beach when you own a boat, and the old saying is true, a boat is a hole in the water you throw $100 bills down!! For any one thinking of buying a boat, rent one don't buy one-a lot less headache that way! Good luck with the boat, you have my sympathy, and I just spent $1K fixing my boat a month ago!

Hopefully, you'll stay under my $1K
Dang, how did you get a boat mechanic so quick? My last boat job took two weeks before the mechanic could even see it!

I wonder who I should call to get a tow back. Vessel Assist is just back by the marina. Same voice. "Duh. You have a trolling motor, stupid."

It's not going to be done by Friday. They found all the parts locally, except the main one. It's coming from MI. I had the option of paying a lot more to get it here quicker, but I opted not to do that.
I'm sticking a fork in it. My Delta striper season is pretty much over. I may go back up if I hear some good reports, but I doubt it. It's been a good year for quality and quantity, so why push it....... Well, I still need to land that 20+ lber so if I may hit it one more time..........
