Apparently the new Hardy's are a superior rod than others on this list.

I don't know how good these guys are but looks pretty legit. Anyone seen these guys' reviews before?

They do this every year. So have you ordered the Hardy?

George knows his stuff. That's a very comprehensive review.

Like I said in the other thread, I like these reviews. It compiles a bunch of new rods, and gives a comprehensive, review. Much of it is very subjective, but there are some factual numbers to go along with the opinions. I just like reading about new gear. It is in no way a "buyers guide" for me.

well, I certainly love my Hardy Zane 12wt.... It is as light as a great many 10 wts. and casts like them as well, but has plenty of Backbone to put the brakes on red hot Dorado.....

Yea, I didn't see the previous post Norcal bob put on. In any case, I thought it was a cool article to read and get some insight. With rod prices the way they are, good reliable information is critical in order to not regret a purchase. I think it will help in choosing which rods to try out when in the market. And an informed consumer is a happy consumer! ;)

Meh,

I always go with the cast a bunch of stuff and get what I like method. Although I have been known to ask for suggestions for other rods to cast ;)
