*NEED RECOMMENDATION ON VANCOUVER BC GUIDE

Postby SaltyFresh » August 25th, 2011, 11:53 am

Hey Guys,

Can anyone recommend a novice friendly guide in the Vancouver BC area?

I may be doing a trip this september/next month.

I am deciding to stay either in Vancouver or Victoria, can't decide...

Thanks in advance!

I believe this person comes highly recommended (by herself)... perhaps, if she doesn't have the proper licenses, to guide in BC, she could suggest someone just as narcissistic... (SNARK)

Sorry. I don't have any personal experience with a guide up there. I've used this forum to get some BC info in the past. I got some helpful replies.

You're welcome.
Fishing is the most wonderful thing I do in my life, barring some equally delightful unmentionables.

Haha! I totally forgot about vokey!

I think everyone knows more about april than what flies work best at any given body of water.
I learned about april before i learned how to haul

Thanks, PT! I had never read her full rant about us before. It was better then I expected. Interestingly enough, trolls hardly ever reveal their true identity, much less their work identity. 8-)

My trip got cancelled... butdid find a couple of good sites up there with lots of info. Never got around looking for a guide but you can search these sites for info.
This is a pink run year, they're expecting up to 30 million to go up into the rivers in BC. I think the run has already started.

Here are the sites, hope you have a good time.

I lived up in Vancouver for a few years, and never took advantage of doing a guided trip up there. With that said, if you ever do a guided trip, the Pitt is supposed to be seriously awesome.
