My New 2wt

This rod was made for me to say thanks for my service. I fished it the one and only time during the 9 Man Trip on Clown Creek. It sure is a sweet little rod. Thanks Chiaki.

Chiaki is one generous man, and a fantastic rod builder!
And we are ALL lucky to have you serving our country Blu!

Just for the record, I have one of those little JAF reels that Shane linked to, it is super light and super strong!
Just don't get it near any intense flame, it is Magnesium!

By the way for those of you that did not see it, Blu has a beautiful casting stroke, he had at least 60' of line out not including the leader, and laying that fly as gently as a falling feather!

Thanks for posting the pictures of the rod,
bob

That's a pretty sick rod, more of a wand actually. A 12 incher is gonna' feel like a marlin!!!!!! You're gonna' have some fun with that thing.I'm curious what the length is, I figure 6 1/2 to 7 feet?--Eric

I was looking into that one for my 0wt. Never got any feedback from anyone but it seems pretty good.

Nice, Blu. Chiaki does nice work, doesn't he? Gotta love the action of a 2wt.

Thanks for your service and enjoy the rod. :D
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Mike,

Matilda (2wt) won't even come out of her case because you made out with her that night after dinner and haven't called her back.

The lowest this reel goes is 5.5 ounces in a 3/4 weight.

On sale for 70% off so a total of $20.70 for the reel is a really good deal.
Eric bought one and he really likes it.
