The Double Haul Ball is here. This is a free event for those who think they may want to try fly fishing in the surf. This is a great time to have casting experts certified by the Fly Fishing Federation to teach you how to cast a fly rod. Inside we will have seminars for the beginners on how to's with your equipment, as well as a much more detailed seminar on species and tactics. Expert fly tyers will be on hand tying the popular surf patterns. The event is at the Long Beach Casting Club club house. The event starts at 8:30am to 4pm. Some of us will be getting there a bit early for coffee and doughnuts, and a little meet and greet starting at 8:30am. Below is the full schedule for the day.
