fflutterffly,

sorry to hear that the fishing was slow. If you decide to give it another try, wait for a few more stockings so that the fish get settled. And try to stay away from the lake if it has just recently rained. Frank Murata teaches a fly class there usually on Saturdays. Don't give up on stillwater yet! It can be very rewarding and since we don't have much rivers here in SoCal, there can be great fishing at some of our local lakes!

Ariel, Sorry to here about the slow day on the lake. You should have come to the LBCC pre trip meeting Wednesday night. We are doing a trip to the lake on the 13th of this month. Check out the December newsletter for more info on how to fish the lake and come on out and give it another try.

you can go and let us know how it went?

Sorry... but if they don't head out to Sea, they ain't Steelhead... The Ocean environment is what makes a Steelhead a steelhead.... Not being just hatched from Steelhead parent stock.... :? 8-)

Try fishing Midge Patterns... Folks, who've I've talked to, who've fished it always mention fishing Midge Patterns for success... Like the "Midge Indicator" fishing one uses on Crowley....
;)

There are some people in the Great Lakes region that would disagree. ;)
Denny Crane: Ah. You can see them in there. Look at the crystal clear water. My fly went right by his nose. Eat it you picky *.
